The Arcane Archive
If you have visited www.FightingFantasy.com recently, you may have stopped by the Fan Zone and noticed there is a section there called the Arcane Archive. Well, over the next few weeks you will find that clicking on the image of the sorcerer's library will transport you to a new part of the website, but one created by you.
In it you will find links to fellow fans' Fighting Fantasy collections, as well as maps to help you negotiate your way safely through your favourite dark dungeons and dingy castles, and maybe even a gamebook solution or two.
So if you have a collection that you think is something a bit special, and that others would enjoy, or if you've successfully mapped Deathtrap Dungeon or The Citadel of Chaos, or if you have a carefully worked-out solution to a Fighting Fantasy gamebook, then contact the Warlock using the link on the website, or via mail@fightingfantasy.com, and you could see your work became part of the Arcane Archive.

The Warlock Welcomes You...
... to the new-look official Fighting Fantasy website!
Step into my lair and through the power of esoteric auguries and scrying spells you will be able to divine all that is happening within the worlds of Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone's Fighting Fantasy gamebooks.
Just as Port Blacksand is the first port of call for weary pirates returning from raiding merchantmen off the coast of Allansia, this is your first port of call for news of Fighting Fantasy events, projects and initiatives.
The exciting news I have to share with you right now is that Fighting Fantasy Fest - the convention dedicated to all things FF - is returning in 2017 to mark the 35th anniversary of the publication of The Warlock of Firetop Mountain - a book that is particularly close to my heart.
Fans of a certain near-future FF adventure should also keep their eyes peeled for some more very exciting news that will have them revving their engines.
This new website is still in the early stages of development, but the intention is to add new content each month, whilst also keeping you informed of developments regarding the world's favourite gamebook series on a regular basis.
All of this development is now in the hands of my new emissary on the Earthly Plane, one Jonathan Green, whom you might have heard of before.

A Legend 34 Years in the Making

The Warlock: A New Adventure
They say all good things must come to an end, and the world of Fighting Fantasy is no different. Jamie Fry – the redoubtable Warlock himself – is relinquishing his duties as FF webmaster so that he can focus on his Fighting Fantasy Collectors’ Guide. Jamie became webmaster in August 2011, and has been diligent in keeping the website up to date with FF news, and also developing the site’s fan features such as readers’ art and amateur adventures. But fear not, a new webmaster will be announced in the very near future, and with it a new look website. Not only that, Jamie will continue to be involved with the website as a regular contributor with his Collectors’ Guide which can be accessed via FightingFantasy.com. The most recent edition is incredibly comprehensive and is a fantastic achievement. He has discovered FF items which even we had forgotten about! He is keen to continue adding rare FF items to the Collectors’ Guide, and the FF website will continue to support him in his endeavours. If you have not done so already, download a copy of the Collectors’ Guide here. Those of you who have met Jamie at events and conventions will have found him extremely personable and knowledgeable about all things FF. What Jamie doesn’t know about value and rarity of FF books and merchandise isn’t worth knowing!
We would like to thank Jamie for his support and dedication to FF, and for all his hard work on the website over the last 5 years. We wish him all the best with the Collectors’ Guide and look forward to reading the updates on FightingFantasy.com. We’ll be announcing his successor very soon. Watch this space…
